Rock Garden Resort Bolinao

Nestled along the western coast of Bolinao, Pangasinan facing the West Philippine Sea is one of the most affordable yet beautiful and relaxing accommodations in this part of the province located in Barangay Arnedo. Though I am not really fond of the beachfront here, the proximity to the different places to visit like Patar Beach (17 kilometers), Bolinao Falls (20 kilometers), Cape Bolinao Lighthouse (17 kilometers), St. James Church and the Enchanted Cave (12 kilometers) is perfectly good. Hence, Rock Garden Resort is I think a good choice.

The beautiful sunset at the Rock Garden Resort, Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The presence of a mini zoo with different exotic animals and also a beautiful, well-maintained garden puts the resort a notch higher compared to the different accommodations in the area. The sunset is amazingly spectacular. The morning mist by the sea is stunning.  You can view all of these from their seashore viewing deck. If you prefer freshwater, you can plunge into their huge swimming pool which is half-Olympic size.

Whether you are on a budget tour or a group excursion, you can choose from the air-conditioned, dormitory type to a fan room without sacrificing comfort. One downside though is availability of water since the bathrooms are separate for these rooms. Nonetheless, it’s too minor to complain about. For those who wanted to stay for the whole day, the entrance is only at Php10 per person with no corkage fee!

They also have complete resort facilities and amenities ranging from open picnic cottages, floating beach cottages, adult and kiddie pools, outdoor garden reception, open reception hall, dining facilities, billiard hall, beach volleyball court, basketball court, tennis court, meeting pavilion and a lot more.

The property is about 7 minutes away from the town proper but there’s no need to worry about where to dine because they have a delicious and an affordable food selection deliverable at the doorstep of your room. You can try their vegetarian pizza, sandwiches or breakfast meals served with coffee as well as Filipino family special meals.
